Union Township completed a $3.4 million improvements project to their water treatment that serves the Township's south/east side. The 2.2 MDG water treatment facility received a new 750 gpm well, a 500,000 gallon ground storage tank, a new 6,700 square foot building to house the treatment system and two constant pressure iron removal filters, 3 high service pumps, 1 fire pump, and an on-site sodium hypochlorite generation system. Serving as the Engineer of Record for Union Township, GFA provided all preliminary and final engineering design, bidding and construction management for the project.
