Forest Home Township wanted to upgrade their park on the shores of Torch Lake. The site presented steep grade and wetland challenges down to the water from the parking area. GFA worked with the Township and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to construct a walk-in boat launch for kayakers, canoers, and paddle boarders alike. The park features an ADA complaint switchback gravel walkway, gravel parking area, removable dock, and associated improvements that provide park visitor’s access to Torch Lake.
