GFA was established in downtown Traverse City in 1948 as the John C. Norton Company, land surveyors. Since that time our services have expanded from that initial beginning in land surveying, to include civil engineering, structural engineering, construction testing, contract operations and more. We are proud to serve many major clients with as-needed contracts at the local, state and federal levels. As such we are an established federal contractor (DUNS #006566640).
